Slate Lite is a stone veneer with a surface made of real stone. A special method and a somewhat more complex process made it possible to extract many very thin slabs from some of the world’s most beautiful slate stone blocks.
Each board is unique by retaining the feel and look of a regular slate board. The characteristics of real slate, on the stone side combined with the incredible flexibility and light weight of the base, enable the realization of fantastic projects and you can see some of them in our gallery below. Whether used to build furniture, as a wall or floor covering, Slate Lite has almost no boundaries. The composition of stone veneer is shown in the following figure
The main characteristics of this product are:
- Extremely easy to transport
- The source of the stone slabs is secured for a large period in the future
- Easy performance around corners and round objects
- Can be installed directly on the tiles
